Golf courses in the Lochaber area are a little bit different to the famous links course found elsewhere in Scotland.
Traigh golf course, on the coast by Arisaig has been described by one newspaper as "probably the most beautifully sited nine-hole golf course in the world", after being redesigned by famous golf architect John Salvesen a decade ago.
If you fancy a round amongst more mountainous scenery then there the spectacular Fort William Golf Club 18-hole, 6,200-yard course on the outskirts of Fort William and in the foothills of Ben Nevis. Other course include Spean Bridge at, well, Spean Bridge, and the Dragon's Tooth course at Ballachulish near Glen Coe.
