Who's in the Outdoor Capital?
The company has its roots in the Mountain Access Group formed during the Foot & Mouth outbreak in 2001. The Outdoor Capital is made up of 15 unpaid directors, who represent a wide range of local businesses from retail, hospitality and outdoor activity providers.
Our team
Our Project Director, Anna Trafford, has been in her post since July 2005. Teresa de Billot is the Project Officer. Their task is to increase visitor spend and bed-nights, and to increase business activity in the sector. This will be achieved by increasing co-operation and partnership work and by marketing the area and its attractions, facilities and businesses.
